No...they have beverages
No, don't think so. They have beer, at least. However, they are very accommodating, so who knows, you might want to call them and ask if you can bring something in.
One of the best places on Taylor. Their Indian Curry fried rice is my favorite.Ambiance: 4/5Service: 5/5Food 4/5Location: Convenient by 157 bus
Overall Golden Thai was ok. The positives are that the portions were a good size and the price was around $10 a plate. I gave it only three stars because my Basil Chicken had hardly any basil in it and wasnt nearly as good as other thai basil Ive had. It also had very little vegetables. Also, the chicken meat was strange. Rather than sliced up chicken it was more like ground chicken. It was kind of a weird texture that i didnt love. We also ordered pad thai. It was good, but lacked the normal pad thai taste. There were no peanuts and didnt have the normal flavoring we have usually experienced. This didnt effect my rating but i did get it a medium heat level. That wasnt very spicy. Maybe like a medium salsa. Definitely less heat than a jalapeno.
Really like this place! I got wonton soup, Singapore noodle and coconut custard. The soup was okay and was a good pair with the noodle. The noodle is so well spiced and I just couldn’t stop eating! The coconut custard is right at the pleasant level of sweetness. Will definitely visit again!
Best Thai place in medical district area. The indian curry fried rice is amazing but really you can pick anything on their menu and you will be satisfied. We would almost eat here every week when we lived on taylor st.
Awesome Thai place. Love the massanan curry
This is my favorite Thai food place. The service is fast and friendly and the food is very good. This place is always consistently good. Soups and pad Thai are my favorite. I love how they serve hot jasmine tea in clear glass mugs. Traditional Thai decorations on the wall add to the overall Thai restaurant appeal. Also, the bathrooms are mice and clean.
Thumbs up to Indian Curry Fried Rice and seafood combination platter. Try the Thai iced Coffee.
We tried out the Phad Thai and Flat noodles with Squid. Both of them were good enough, however the chicken fried rice is not recommended.
Best Pad See Ew!
I love Thai and this place is just as good. Fast service, very polite and a nice little place for a quick bite.
This has to be a no-nonsense, all taste Thai place. A hit with UIC students, it offers a wide variety of authentic Thai dishes with medium to spicy options. Plenty of options that can be customized to cater to vegetarian. Special shout-out to the Indian curry fried rice!
I love Taylor street, this is a cool place to find some street parking or valet and walk around as there is plenty to do in this little area. Usually you can find street parking just circle the block. I had the Green Curry with Chicken and an a cucumber salad. This is a BYOB establishment, so if you forget there is a 711 across the street.
Amazing food and really good service! Highly recommend the red curry and pad see ew.
Way better than the place across the street! Really good food! Haven't had anything that I have not liked.
Very good Thai food. I usually ask for medium level of spiciness in my dishes. Be aware that the spiciness is hotter here. Love the atmosphere and staff. You can also bring your own beverage, which always saves me a couple dollars.
Quick stop to eat with a friend, and this place fit the bill. Such friendly service, delicious food, and not to mention very clean bathrooms (sign of a truly good place, right?)!
Food is delicious. Pricing is fair. I got the drunken noodles with beef and it was delicious. The serving size is moderate, slightly smaller than other Thai restaurants I have been too. The noodles were cooked well; soft and not chewy. The meat was delicious and flavorful. The dish was spicy and flavorful. The menu has many options, all of which look delicious. The food comes out fast and hot. Street parking is available. Service was great. Take out service is offered. I recommend this spot to anyone in the area.
Excellent. Busy at lunch but they serve everyone timely with smiles and cordiality. My lunch was great.
Great lunch spot. I love the panang curry. The shumai are also good.
Loved my curry and baby egg rolls. Service was fast and courteous. Enjoyed the small restaurant. I would definitely return and I would encourage you to give them a try.
Very good Thai place. Great spice to their dishes. The mild was just right for me and the medium was pretty spicy for my dining partner. Would recommend the duck dishes, pad Thai, and the noodles in soup form. Pot stickers nice and toasty too.
Order from down the street before closing hours, the only reason I ended up at this place. Food not as fresh or plentiful as its competitor. Snatch a bowel elsewhere.
I adore this place! They prepare superb meals, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that place is an expert, I enjoy a lot trying all their food. The dishes are always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is nice. I visit often this place and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.
Good food. Large portions with reasonable price. Very friendly staff. I highly recommend.
Good food, really close to UIC hospital.
Great thai food, I think the restaurant is a little bit pricy, but the food was prettu great and the restaurant too.
The place never fails me. I love the staff I love the food just a great place all around.
We came to this spot for dinner. my friend recommended this place. Well, it was very successful. The crew were very polite and we had a great feeling. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we shall definitely come back again. We recommend this place to all.
Casual dining place with very nice dishes. I love the panang curry -- it is on the sweeter side but you can add your own spices as well. I am vegan and I really enjoy their fried crispy tofu as the protein option. Their drunken noodles are another great choice for vegan/vegetarians.
My favorite Thai place in the city
love this place, my first time there, will be going back. great portions, yummy food, amazing staff that made sure my family and I where comfortable. great prices
Their food is extremely tasty and well priced. Plenty of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. I have had couple bad experiences with service when I went by myself. They keep adding an 18% service fee (which I assume is tip, however I have tipped generously based on my experience). Don't know if this is their practice with all the customers or not. Just be cautious about this. I do have to say that one of the servers over there during lunch hours is super friendly and I have had no issues when I go during those times.
SO!!!# TODAY WAS MY VERY FIRST TIME COMING HERE AND EATING THERE FOOD... AND I MUST SAY THAT THIS IS THE BEST THAI FOOD I'VE HAD IN VERY LONG TIME. SORRY IT TOOK quarantine for me to find this fabulous food of theirs. I'm definitely coming back and back and back!!! 😆... Seriously tho... This is really good and the customer service is amazing. I did not get the lady that was taking/serving the orders name!!! Wish i had😢😢... But she was so nice and kind and very welcoming!! And she also handed me some HAND SANITIZER after i was finished signing and grabbing my order.... Amazing amazing!!! Thank you!!!
The food is good serving is well sized.
Always The Best. From the food to staff great!
Amazing food at pretty economic rates
Good pad Thai, although I'm not picky
Great food and service.
We had dinner at this omace and the food was average.I had the BBQ pork with rice and I can't say it was the best meal ever but anyway for 11$ it wasn't that bad.
Worse customer service! They gave me the wrong food and the lady began yelling like it's my fault.. im tired of dealing with this lady and her rude as attitude
Their food is delicious, I’ll give them that; however, after years of ordering from them they’ve messed up our deliveries too many times for us to continue to be loyal customers. We’d probably still dine in though, their food is definitely good, they just need someone else to take delivery orders. Also some consistency on spice. I ordered medium spicy Noodles once and I couldn’t finish them. Keep in mind that I was raised by Mexican people who eat toasted serrano peppers as a side with their dinner. When I saw it was unbearable, I mean it.
I love their food. I used to order from here all the time because they are super quick and accurate. Their inhouse service is great too. P.S: They need to add the fortune cookie with the delivery too.
Best Pad See Ew in town, lots of beef and broccoli!
Amazing and authentic food! Best Tom Yum soup I’ve ever had and very friendly staff.
The drunkin' nooodlrs were fabulous, and had a ton of tender beef. But the Tom ka soup not up to my standards
Not a very big place but cozy place, good food. I went there for lunch and had the Indian Curry fried rice. It was a real treat for my taste buds :D
Spicy means spicy at this place. A but too many bean sprouts in my dish.
Love this place. Their crab rangoons and basil fried rice are so good.
Intimate restaurant. Great staff. Went with my coworkers on our lunch break.
Every time when we visit this restaurant, is the best experience in the zone, my family love this place.Excellent foot and service
